Ephesians 6:12

There is an enemy out there. Enjoying the chaos and hate swirling around us.

He is enjoying the finger pointing.

He is enjoying how we are judging each other.

He is smiling while we all make accusations with hateful pride.

He is laughing because he's got us all so twisted, so hard pressed on proving why we are right and everyone else is wrong.

The enemy has us all jumbled up looking at the same thing with ten different view points and everyone at each other's throats.

Oh friends, he is loving all the fear enveloping us as our world feels out of control.

The divide bigger and deeper. Right where he wants us.

It is hard right now but we can't let him get a foot hold in our hearts.

Instead let's be Jesus filled.

Let's be prayerful.

Let's hit our knees instead of clapping back.

Let's not be part of the enemy's schemes by joining in the hate and fear.

Let's not forget who the real enemy is.

Jesus heal our land! Jesus, may love pour from our lips and from our hands! May we honor you in all that we do no matter what is going on around us. May we light up the darkness in our world instead of adding to it.

"For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places."
